useDesignTokens supports the DTCG specification and allows you import and export your tokens in JSON format.

You can upload a JSON file, or enter the JSON code directly into the JSON editor on the import tokens page.

• Once you've uploaded or entered your tokens, they are parsed and validated. If there are any errors in the format or schema of your JSON, the errors are displayed, allowing you to fix them or discard the tokens with errors.

• Next, you can select the target token tier where the imported tokens will be added, in case you have multiple token tiers in your setup.

• If the selected token tier has contexts, and any of the tokens in your input already has a token with the same name in the target token tier, you'll need to select the context under which the values will be imported as overrides. Otherwise, a new token will be created with the imported values.
